北京大学と早稲田大学の教員間、大学院博士後期課程の若手研究者間の共同研究のプラットフォームを構築することを目的とし、両大学の共同研究交流会を通じて、共同研究、共著論文、研究書籍の共同出版等を行います。
新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響を受け、2022年度も引き続きオンライン型の「北京大学・早稲田大学共同研究交流会」を6回開催しています。

第4回：China, Japan, and Global governance: Changes and Challenges（2022年12月実施済）
第5回：漢字・漢語研究の新地平（2023年3月実施予定）
第6回：The Adjustment of Globalization and its Political and Economic International Influence（2023年3月実施予定）
